Legal Question in Family Law in California

Please help...What do i need to do?

Hello,

We are getting a divorce and both of us mutually agreed and its going to uncontested. We dont have any community property. She bought her house prior to our marriage and i dont want any of that even though i help her with the mortgage payment. We have been married for almost 3 years and no kids.

We are responsible for our own debts and liabilities as we keep it separate from the beginning like car payments and student loans.

What do i need to do to proceed with this? Can i file for a dissolution of marriage? It stated that the separate property has to be below 30K?

You can file for a summary dissolution of marriage if you meet the qualifications for the petition. Anyone can file a petition for dissolution of their marriage, if they meet the California residency requirements, 6 months in the state and 90 in the county.
