Legal Question in Family Law in California

Hi,i want to move to another state. I have two boys 3 and4. My ex has no visitation and has a no contact order for all three of us. He can have phone calls after he finishes half of his 52 week course and half a parenting course. I was offered a job in ohio I live in California. How can I do this? Also can he come back in five years and try to make me move back? What would happen after we move out there?

It would be best if you brought your orders to a family law attorney in your area. Depending on your orders, you may already have the ability to move with your minor children. A qualified attorney would be able to discuss this with you.

If the court orders do not clearly permit the children's relocation to another state, file and serve your motion to request this relief.
