Legal Question in Family Law in California

Can My Ex hire our Settlement Judge as her attorney

Two Settlement Judges were appointed by the court to our Settlement Conference in San Diego, Family Law Court. Settlement conference was last year. My ex has now hired one of these ''judges'' to represent her in our ongoing legal dispute. Legal? Ethical? Thanks.....

Conflict of interest, plain and simple. This person should recuse himself\herself or a recusal motion should be filed.
