The court requires the petitioner and respondent to discuss the issues in an attempt to come to an agreement. You did not state why you are concerned about your attorney talking with your husband. You should have a heart to heart discussion with your attorney and explain why you have this fear. Your attorney would is not emotionally involved in your case, and may appear to be friendly with your husband. He should be doing that to enhance settlement possibilities, which will reduce your attorney fee.
