Legal Question in Family Law in California

My husband has beed served a supeona for a child support case he has been fighting he is unemployed and owes about 2,000 dollars in back pay, we are afraid that they may try and come after my income since I am the only one employed, can they legally come after me since we are legally married

No, you are not obligated to support his children from a prior relationship. However, money in joint accounts can be reached. So you probably should start depositing your pay in an account he does not have access to until this is cleared up.
