Legal Question in Family Law in California
my husband had a child support case opened, he paid it before they garnished his wages. Will this go on any background check or credit report?

That depends on who was enforcing the child support order. Where a county child support agency is enforcing, they have access to some significant remedies, such as business license revocation, and passport revocation to enforce unpaid child support obligations. They also will sometimes report to credit agencies, but that is rare.
