My ex husband just had another child will my child support drop?
My ex husband had braces put on our daughter without my consent and now wants me to pay half of the balance that his insurance didn't cover. Am I required by state of California law to pay for this?

Yes, it almost certainly will lower your support because the percentage of his income he is obligated to contribute to his support obligations goes up with a second child but it does not double.
Whether you have to pay 1/2 the uninsured orthodontia expense is complicated. An evaluation would require reviewing all the facts and course of events, as well as your existing custody and support orders.
