My husband going 2 court with his ex

My husbands ex is taking him back to court for more child support. The reason she wrote on the paper work is because he bought a house. Now the house is only in my name can the court take my home?

You income will be used to determine the amount of income taxes paid. The payment of taxes and mortgage interest will reduce the amount of taxes paid. However, your income added to his income may well put you into a higher tax bracket. Consult with an attorney to get a better idea of whether there will be an increase in child support.

The court is not going to take your house. The court will look at his income and her income to see if there is a change in income justifying an increase in support. Usually, the courts don't look at the new spouse's income unless the obligor is hiding income or making very little income.
