Legal Question in Family Law in California
My husband keeps asking me for a divorce, Every weekend, holidays, childrens b-day parties.
Im feel fine with giving it to him, tired of his roller coaster rides of emotions, but am concerned., I'm unemployed and he works. All this man has to do is get up in the morning and go on about his day. All the while he refuses to pay for half of our house budget, or save money for emergencies, like tiers for the car or even door handles ( things that are needed), he is always broke and I have no idea where his money goes. He told me just Monday he is sorry and he does not know why he treats me so bad without reason and tells me his doesnt blame me, he said there is something wrong with his head.. Its like he is really wants this.
Even thought Im not working, receiving unemployment and we rent, is it safe to file for a divorce.

You have to define safe for yourself. That is not a legal question. One of you will most likely wind up paying child support. You don't give enough information to even guess who would pay whom, but if he makes more than your unemployment and you get primary custody he would have to pay you something. The only way to say how much would be to run the program that calculates it.
