If my husband and I are getting divorced, can I legally get him to have to pay some of the mortgage that he is responsible for?

If you continue to cohabit at the residence, it's reasonable to expect for him to pay one half of the mortgage expenses. If there's in arrears that hasn't been paid, you can make a request for the same
If you are residing in the residence by yourself, the remedy would be to seek spousal support if you were entitled to that financial assistance.
