Legal Question in Family Law in California

My Husband and I divorced in Sptember 2009. In our final divorce papers it states that my husband had filed for bankruptcy and that all community debt has been discharged. This statement is untrue and my ex-husband did not file for bankruptcy and i have had to pay off creditors somewhere near the amout of $7000.00. Can I take my ex-husband back to court for reimbursement of these monies?

Yes, but you will have to spend maybe $2,000 in legal fees to have the divorce judge order that your ex pay these amounts to you per the divorce settlement or agreement.
