Legal Question in Family Law in California

my husband wants to file divorce, I don't

Good afternoon. My husband left me last November. We have a daughter as well. We are working everything out together, although I hired a lawyer and had him served, due to just trying to be on the safe side (custody & financially) because of our daughter. I filed for legal seperation. He now wants a divorce. But we are on the matters of us just taking our time and working things out a day at a time with our marriage. We are both in a agreement that if things work out with our marriage and we get back together that were happy with that, and if we don't, then we don't. But i don't want to get a divorce, I would rather just be legally seperated. Is it possible to be seperated even if he wants a divorce?

It appears that you are currently represented by counsel and I therefore believe it would be inappropriate for me to comment on your case.

You should contact your own attorney with all questions - That's why you pay him/her!
