Legal Question in Family Law in California
My husband filed for child support modification, which was denied. They court denied the modification stating that there would be no change. We believe that she lied on her modification paperwork. He called to request the paperwork for the information submitted but they advised that since there was no modification, he could not view it. Do we not have a right to view the information submitted?

You always have a right to know what was filed in your case. If you want to see what was filed in the court case, simply go to the records window of your local courthouse and request to view the file. Bring money or a checkbook so you can make copies of any documents that you do not have.
For self represented individuals you can consult with the family law facilitator self help center at your local court house.
As always please consult a local attorney prior to taking legal action. Good luck. Also please check out my Santa Clara County Family Lawyer blog.
