Legal Question in Family Law in California

My husband and I have filed for a divorce and have requested a continuance twice (him once and myself once). What can we do if we still are not sure? Is there something else we could file, or do we just keep requesting continuances and hoping the judge grants them?

No, the judge continue giving continuances. At some point, the case must go forward or something else happens. However, since you are not sure about going through with the divorce, you should request marital counseling provided by the court that may lead to reconciliation. Both sides must agree. Check with the San Bernardino Superior Court where your dissolution case is filed.

Obviously in my first sentence above, I meant to write: "No, the judge cannot continue giving continuances."
