Legal Question in Family Law in California

My husband has filed for divorce, what happens if I don't respond? Does it go into default? If so what happens after that point. It has been over 30 days but I do want to respond is it too late?

You should file your response without any further delay. As long as your default has not been taken you are entitled to file a response.
