Legal Question in Family Law in California

the husband gave the wife an heirloom engagement/wedding ring. They are divorced and the wife gave the ring back to the husband but now changed her mind and wants it back. Who ring is it?

Husband has ownership now. He can keep it if he wants, I don't think wife really wants the engagement ring from a failed marriage, unless it is just to sell for money

The ring was gift to from the Husband to the Wife. Wife "gave" it back and therefore presumptively gifted it back to him. However, when the other side of the story is heard there is often a difference in the alleged facts. If the judgge finds the facts as you have stated, it belongs to the Husband.
