Legal Question in Family Law in California

My husband is in Georgia and I am in California. I want to draw up a separation agreement, we will stay married for awhile longer cause I'm pregnant with his baby and need the medical coverage. I also have another child with him. Is there a specific form that I need to use? I've found a few templates online that look good but is there a specific template that is necessary to be deemed legal in the either states? Thanks!!!

A judgment in California would be recognized in all states. You should have a marital settlement agreement, which is a contract settling all issues. Since you have two children and have insurance issues, I would suggest that you have an attorney prepare the agreement. Your issues are easily resolved by an experiences attorney and may cost no more that paying a paralegal to prepare the documents.
