If you did not respond in time, you need to file a motion to vacate or set aside your default. You may want to speak to the family law facilitator at the courthouse where the divorce petition was filed.

Mr. Roach gives you good advice. It also seems you really do not know what you are dealing with. If you really want to do this yourself, you need to get a good book on doing your own divorce. My favorite is How to Do Your Own Divorce in California by Nolo Press.
