Legal Question in Family Law in California
husband has been killing me with these payments, for our 2 children,thought id get a break when my daughter graduated and turned 18. he wants to modify it and increase it. hes already getting SSI AND IHSS for them, how much can get. i already have $5600 in arrears...trying to get on my feet, and the irony of it cant afford a lawyer, the current one wont do anything,...and my ex getting away with everything...just dont wanna work, and im trying hard to get them back. we go to court 2/3.....its just a financial hardship....what can i do?

If your ex is unemployed or underemployed, you should be making an argument to the court of imputing income to him. Please talk with your current attorney about these issues.
