Legal Question in Family Law in California

My husband and I live in Loganville, GA. his children live in california. My husband was never married to his ex. They have 2 children together. How do we go about setting up court orderd visitation. Also how would we go about getting child support lowerd.

If there is a support order there is also most likely an order for custody to the ex. You would file a motion to modify those orders. The motion would be filed in the same court that issued the existing orders. If the ex and the children no longer live in that jurisdiction, you might want to file a motion to transfer the case to the county where they now live, along with the motion for modification. If the ex and children live in a San Francisco Bay Area county, or Sacramento County, we would be able to assist you with those filings.
