Legal Question in Family Law in California

My husband and I have lived with his parents for the duration of our marriage. He cannot afford to move out & neither do I yet he wants me to leave. He threatens to call the cops to get me out. His Mom does not want me to leave. What are my legal rights?

You have no legal rights. You are not a tenant if you are not paying to live there. Your husband, however, had no rights either unless he pays rent. If neither of you are tenants, the only people with rights are his parents. They have the only rights to say who lives in their house and who does not.
