Legal Question in Family Law in California

My Husband and I were married for 16 years. I worked for the first couple of years, and was then a stay at home mom. I am now disabled, but unable to collect disability due to the number of years sense I have last earned an income. It will also be unlikely that I will be able to find new medical coverage, due to my existing medical conditions. My Husband works for the County. I have heard that some Government jobs are able to offer lifetime medical coverage, not COBRA, to (ex) spouses. Will the disability situation be factored into the spousal support? What about the medical insurance? Any advice?

There are a number of factors the court considers in setting spousal support. Your disability and the lack of insurance may be considered.
