Legal Question in Family Law in California

'My husband was offered stock options before our marriage but purchased them after our marriage buying them on margin sold most to pay the margin then opened a new stock account with the money he made from the stocks and some stock he was able to keep. He hid this and now say's I have no right to any of it, is this true?

If he bought them with his separate property funds, and did not commingle with your property or community property, then he may be right.

This would call for some serious research to be sure, but I believe that because he exercised the options with debt during the marriage, there is a community interest there.
