Legal Question in Family Law in California

If my husband is paying child support plus all additional bills for his ex-wife and two children and she goes on public assistance, then how can they now garnish our bank account for restitution of monies paid to her. Isn't he already exceeding his legal obligation to her?

That doesn't sound right, but without all the facts and documentation in the case, it is impossible to tell. He should contact a lawyer in person.

Rather or not DCSS can attach the bank account depends on your husbands ability to prove what he has paid. He very much needs to seek legal council.
