Legal Question in Family Law in California

My husband has been paying child support to his ex-wife who has remarried and quit working. How is child support calculated in this particular situation? She has a college education and BS degree as well.

Support is usually calculated on the basis of what she was making if she voluntarly chooses to quit working.

I would add that it is possible to have the court impute her income, based on her earning potential, rather than the fact that she is willingly not working.
