Legal Question in Family Law in California

My husband is paying child support from a previous relationship. If he and I have children how will that affect the child support he currently pays?

It will reduce his payments. How much I can't say without full financial information from both parents and running it through DissoMaster. But roughly the system will calculate support for two children which is 1.6x the amount for one child, the presume he is spending half of that on the new child. So, VERY roughly his total support for the first child will be reduced to 80% of what it is now, but then he probably does not pay 100% of the total support calculation, since he only pays for the percentage of time the child is with the other parent. So the final calculation of the reduction gets complicated.
