My husband purchased a house by himself prior to our marriage in Britain. We have two children together. He has not been working for the past eight years. If we are divorced and I am the custodial parent, will the court order him to sell his house for child support?�

No. But if he does not find work the court can order him to make payments based on what he could earn if he were working. How he pays for that is up to him, whether it be by selling the house or other means.
