Legal Question in Family Law in California

My Ex husband Quit Claimed our house over to me 6 months ago. His name remains on the loan.I am trying to get a Loan Modification that would take him off the loan but, the bank keeps giving me the run around telling me it is in with the underwriter. My Ex filed a motion to have the Quit Claim set aside and for me to be forced to sell the house. Does he have any grounds?

That would depend on the terms of your divorce judgment and MSA (if any).

That depends on his motion. You don't set forth what his grounds are in the motion, and you don't set forth the factual background for any of us to determine whether or not his grounds are valid and supported.

Without reviewing the agreement for the quit claim deed and any judgment and orders that would be impossible to give any reasonable advice. You may call my office for a free consultation. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
