Legal Question in Family Law in California
My husband refused to give me any of our assets in our divorce, instead he took all my debt and intends to file BK to relieve himself from having to pay it. I have been told by a BK attorney that he can write my debt off in his BK, however, my creditors will still be able to come after me for this debt. If the judgement has been signed by my husband and myself but not signed by the judge and has not been entered can I amend this judgement?

Possibly, but you better hurry. Once it is signed by the judge you will have a very hard time undoing it. It will not be easy even now, but if you hire an attorney who files papers with the court explaining that you signed without consulting an attorney and you have been taken advantage of, you may be able to undo it. Call someone Monday morning.
