Legal Question in Family Law in California

My husband and i are seperating, but he has agreed to be my sperm donor for IUI. He has also agreed to a written legal agreement relinguishing all rights to the child. when i was looking up info on the internet for ca law concerning AI it didnt seem airtight that he would not later be able to get custody later if he wanted it because we are married. is their something else i can do besides the legal agreement that would keep him from getting any sort of custody later on?

If you are married at the time, he has parental rights that are not waivable, because they belong to the child. You need to wait for the divorce to be final.
