Legal Question in Family Law in California

my husband served me papers and I wanted to know which form I need to have to serve him? I have someone that can serve him my response but I don't have a form for them to fill out stating that they served him. Is it the same form no matter who is serving who? Or is it different

You can have the person serving the papers fill out POS-030 if they are serving by mail. You can find the form here: http://www.courtinfo.ca.gov/forms/fillable/pos030.pdf

An unsigned copy of this, containing the date of mailing, is included in the documents to be served. The signed original should be taken to court, with your response for filing. You should also take an extra copy of the documents that you are filing with the court so the court clerk can give you a conformed copy.
