Legal Question in Family Law in California

My husband spends everyother weekend with his 2yr old son. He is tired of being a weekend dad, He would like to try and get full custody of him. We have the means of providing a loving and stable home for him. What would we need to do.

Ask the biological mother if she is willing to increase dad's timeshare. If she is then you can write the agreement up and file it with the court. If not, file an Order to Show Cause with the court that last made orders on the case and the court will decide if he gets more time.
