Legal Question in Family Law in California

Can my ex husband sue me for $20,000 owned to him from a property i was awarded during our divorce. At the time the property had equity in it but since then it is now under water. The judgement was ordered in 2008. He has never asked for the money but i feel like eventually he will. Is there a statue of limitations on?

If he already has a judgment against you from the divorce, then he doesn't need to sue you again. I'd have to examine the judgment to tell you whether the judgment expires in ten years or not.
