Legal Question in Family Law in California

my ex husband was supposed to keep me on his health insurance until the divorce was final as stated in our MSA.I just found out yesterday that He stopped paying for my coverage months before the final decree came. He did not notify me at all.I only found out because I needed documentation from him of when the coverage ended so I could get on my partners insurance. Boy was I surprised to see that he had stopped paying right after he signed the Marital settlement agreement. that was fraud was it not? I am now uninsured and want to know can I sue him for fraud or contempt? what can I do? the divorce was final March of this year in California. thank you

Fraud, maybe, breach of contract, probably, contempt probably. The trouble is you need to have damges. Luckily for both of you, you did not have some catestrophic illness or injury. So what are your damages? The law is incredibly bad at providing justice that cannot be measured in money. So unless you have quantifiable damages, there is no real case. If you can't get on your partner's insurance because of it, or you have some other financial loss, then you have a case.
