Legal Question in Family Law in California
My husband walked out on myself and our one year old son about a month ago. Hee provides the bare minimum for the baby and nothing for me. My husband is currently living with his parents and visits the baby once daily. He is demanding "alone" time with the baby, wanting to take him out of my custody for a few hours once or twice a week. We haven't filed papers with the court yet regarding anything. I am deeply worried that if I allow this he will not return my son to me. Am I breaking any laws or impeding on his parental rights by not allowing him to take the baby alone?

There are no laws broken since you do not have court orders. File and serve your divorce petition with a motion to establish custody and support.
