Legal Question in Family Law in California

A husband and wife divorced in Pennsylvania and then both moved (to seperate homes) in Calif. several years ago. Husband has been paying almost $2000 a month in spousal support over the years. He recently was laid off his job and became engaged to another woman, he has not been paying the full amount of the support ordered and the wife is wanting to take him back to court. Will the current order be upheld or will he be relieved of hsi current support by soem amount or even all of it?

You need to ask this of a Pennsylvania attorney. The California courts will only enforce a sister-state judgment or order as it stands. Modification of the order will have to come from a Pennsylvania court.
