Legal Question in Family Law in California

My husband and I will be filing for divorce within a week, we have been living apart for over a year. Both cars were in his name, I got one he got one, I continued to make payments on the car, and eventually paid it off, I received the pink slip, but its in his name. He refuses to sign the pink slip over to me. In the divorce, the car will be given to me, can I sign his name of the slip without getting into too much trouble?
