Legal Question in Family Law in California

My husbands ex has accused us of calling CPS. We know it is not u s however it has caused us concern as to who has and why? Is there a way for him to find out why CPS has been called since she has threatened to take us to court for "slander". As we all know CPS keeps that info confidential and they do not fly out to a home on a whim! We are unfortuantely at her mercy as she has him out of state and she holds all the cards as far as visitation. But again our concern is him

I don't know about the state the child is located in, but in California CPS does, in fact, fly out on a whim, as you put it. They take no chances that a report that seems weak is actually real. They will investigate pretty much any complaint. You really need to contact an attorney in the state where the mother and child are located to find out what your rights and options are.
