Legal Question in Family Law in California

My husband's name is not on our baby's birth certificate. He was working with the US Army overseas when he got killed. Now the baby cannot get death benefits unless his name is on her birth certificate. I don't know how to amend it?? Please help

The big question I have for you is why is your deceased husband's name not on the birth certificate in the first place?

Don't trust any lawyer who doesn't ask you that question.
