Legal Question in Family Law in California

My husbands ex is constantly sendign harrassing and abusive text messages toward my husband and I. They have a 16 and 15 yr old boys together and she is getting paid monthly for child support. She constantly states she is telling boys bad stuff about their dad and will text for 3 hours or more after my husband tells her to stop texting over and over and even wrote a letter to husband to ask her to stop harrassing. What can my husband do? We live in California.

Keep the texts and file an Order to Show Cause requesting she take Co-parenting Classes and or request to change custody. You may want to consider filing for a restraining order under the family law case, if the messages are threatening. Judges do not like to hear about behavior like that. Also, do not respond to the texts. It just gives her the satisfaction that she is bothering him.
