Legal Question in Family Law in California

II went to court on july 28th and my kids dad got an order to pay child support, bt since then i haven't received anythijng yet. I would like to know how long does it take to get the check after the court ordered the payment. Thanks.

Generally the order is forthwith, meaning he starts paying immediately. It depends how you got the order from the court. If it was through the department of child support services they will process the wage assignment. If you were in pro per you are responsible for processing the wage assignment.
