Legal Question in Family Law in California

Illegal land owners

I have an almost ex-bother inlaw that is not a legal citizin actually his status is illigal. He has brought a house with my sister but stated on the paperwork that he was a US citizin which he is not. My question is, is he intitled to anything if he lied on the paperwork?
