Legal Question in Family Law in California
Is it illgal for a step mother to take and sing at a doctors visit. Without a letter from one of the other parents. Or one of the other parenst present

No generally non-parents are permitted to help parents as long as a court order does not prohibit it. There is nothing wrong with a non-parent helping but most parents are super critical of step parents and the other parent generally.
Generally this is a trivial matter and reflects badly on a parent who tries to use it to criticize the other parent.
