Legal Question in Family Law in California

Implications of physical custody split

My spouse and I are starting a divorce. my spouse demands for ''more than 50%'' time with our son. Are there any implications, other than on child support amount, to a split that's 45/55 or 40/60 ? Will that make me less qualified to take part in decisions concerning our son?

Re: Implications of physical custody split

It would appear that he is attempting to bullying you into giving him control of the children. It appears that he is attempting to slowing push you out of the picture. Unless there is a reason to do so you should not agree to less than 50% of the time with the children.
