Legal Question in Family Law in California

Improper environment when visiting non custodial parent

I have reason to believe that my daughter is being kept in an improper environment when she is visiting her father. I believe she is being exposed to excessive drinking and to drug use. I have custodial custody of her and we live in Texas, her father lives in California. What recourse do I have to keep her from visiting him until I can be assured she is in a safe and appropriate environment?

Re: Improper environment when visiting non custodial parent

You would have to find proof of your suspicions. Likely through a surveillance investigation. without proof, you would be in contempt of court to prevent visitaion.
