Legal Question in Family Law in California

Income & Expense Declaration - Married & Interrogations

1. Should I add my wife's expenses on my Income & Expense Declaration for child support?

2. Interrogations - If the other parent requests for a copy of my bank statements, am I expected by court to provide her copies? Is she entitled to them?

You wife's income will be considered by the court only to the extent that it increases your income taxes. If you and your wife have a child together, then her income may be considered by the court in deciding whether or not to allow a hardship deduction for that child. Contact an attorney to review your your case.

No, do not include your wife's expenses unless you want the court to consider he income. If she has no income, then by all means, include them. You have to give copies of bank statements.
