Increase in Child Support

Can my x-husband and his girlfreind who have co-mingled their income by buying a home and checking account, play a part in increase of child support?

Can i request an income & expense from her?

Does her income apply for increase in child support?

Thank you

Re: Increase in Child Support

He income cannot be used to increase the amount of child support he has to pay. In fact it mayreduce the amount of support that he has to pay. This would occur if their combined income puts them into a higher tax bracket and his income taxes go up. Before you attempt to raise his child support you should go to the local family court, the internet or a family law attorney and run the dissomaster with all of the information. You may get an increase if the interest they pay on the house is enough to lower the taxes they pay.
