Inheritence

My wife was left money from her dad when he died last year. If we were to divorce, would I be entitled to half? We have been married 9 years.

Absent comingling with community funds (so that you can no longer tell where the money came from) or a transmutation (a writing expressly changing the character of the property to community), the inheritance would be her separate property regardless of the length of the marriage.

No. Money received by devise or inheritance is not community property, it is separate property.
