innocenct help

my friend went out with a girl on their first date. the girl got too drunk and fell and was knocked out cold. he helped her up and took her home. he was turned off by her action and decided to not to see her again. the girl, not remembering what happend and bitter about his rejection, goes to the police and they call him to tell him he might be arrested for domestic violence. what should he do.

This is a criminal law question. Nevertheless, your friend should NOT speak to the police under any circumstances without an attorney.

This point is so important that it bears repeating:

Your friend should NOT say one word to the police without an attorney present.
