Did she ever promise you a cut of the settlement? Did you have anything that could constitute an agreement that she would owe you anything? Marvin was based on a confluence of events in which Lee Marvin promised to take care of the woman if she dropped her career and became a stay at home partner like a spouse, they held her out publicly as his wife, she even used his last name. The court found an equitable contract in that case to provide continuing support as if they were married and she would have been entitled to spousal support. Unless you have similar facts and evidence that would show a quasi-contract and equitable marriage, you don't have a case under Marvin.

You don't even mention a contract, just an expectation to get rich.
